How many animals can hide in the white snow? Polar bears, baby seals, artic foxes and rabbits. There are so many animals that are white to hide in the snow. White is a pure and clean color that is often associated with innocence and purity. It is the color of freshly fallen snow and a cotton ball. When you see the color white, you might feel fresh and clean. Some people even say that white can help to make you feel more peaceful. White can also be a symbol of simplicity.

Have you ever found it difficult to fall asleep? Some people count sheep jumping over a fence when they can't fall asleep. One sheep. Two sheep. And so on. Until they become so tired that they fall into a deep sleep. Have you ever counted sheep jumping over a fence? And how high do you think sheep can jump? Most of the time sheep walk around slowly and eat grass in the field, but they can jump 4 foot or 122 centimeter fences!

Imagine owning a white dog. White dogs might look beautiful when they're clean but when they're dirty it would be very easy to see. You would have to wash the dog every day. Have you ever seen a dog shake their fur when they're wet and spray water everywhere? If your dog wasn't clean it could spray dirty water all over the bathroom. That would mean even more cleaning!

Most goats can jump between 4 feet (122 centimeters) and 12 feet (366 centimeters) high. Imagine the poor farmer having to build fences to keep white goats in a field.
