Orange is a vibrant and playful color that is often associated with fun and excitement. It is the color of a juicy orange and a warm sunset. When you see the color orange, you might feel happy and playful. Some people even say that orange can helop to increase your energy and make you feel more cheerful. Orange can also be a symbol of caution and warning, so it can be a very attention-grabbing and energetic color. That's why it's used for traffic cones, safety vests and lifebuoys on boats. Orange is the color of vegetables like carrots, peppers and pumpkins. It's the color of fruit like oranges and peaches. And it's the color of animals like tigers, foxes, goldfish and butterflies.

Have you ever been swimming in the sea and tasted the water? It's really salty, right! Whereas if you swim in a river or a lake it's hardly salty at all. Water with lots of salt in is called saltwater and water without lots salt in is called freshwater. Different kinds of orange fish live in different kinds of water. Goldfish and the Orange Guppy live in freshwater. The Orange Clownfish and the Garibaldi Fish live in saltwater.

Did you know that some oranges are sweet and some oranges are bitter. People use sweet oranges to make orange juice and use the bitter oranges to make marmalade. Most oranges have orange skin on the outside and orange flesh in the middle. One type of oranges called Blood Oranges have orange skin on the outside, but dark red flesh in the middle. Don't worry blood oranges don't taste of blood. They taste delicious.

One thing that shouldn't be on your list of orange birds is the Orange Bird of Paradise. That's because it's actually a plant with bright orange petals that look like a birds wings.

Orange Salamanders eat worms, spiders and snails. Salamanders and Lizards might look the same, but they're very different! Lizards have dry skin and breath through their lungs. Salamanders have most skin. They can breath through their lungs, but they can also breath through gills in their skin. Remember not to touch Salamanders as their skin is poisonous.
