Let's Learn About Bears!
In the wild forests and mountains of the world, and the freezing Artic north, lives a large and powerful creature called the bear. Bears comes in many different shapes and sizes. There are black bears, brown grizzly bears and polar bears. Polar bears have white fur, live in the cold Artic and can swim in the icy sea to chase seals and fish. Black bears live in the forests and mountains of North America and eat plants. Brown bears are larger and live in lots of places around the world. They eat fish, berries and even baby moose. Bears normally walk around on 4 legs, but when they're curious they can stand up on their back legs. Standing up tall, bears look big and scary, but this also helps them see, smell and hear everything around them. So next time you're out exploring the forest, keep an eye out for a bear. It may be hidden in the trees or fishing by a river. If you're lucky, you might just catch a glimpse of this magnificent animal as it goes about its daily life.
