How we draw every page

Created by humans. Made for kids. Loved by crayons.

  • A bear character being hand-drawn in pencil

    Hand-drawn

Every illustration begins as a pencil sketch. Our illustrators draw animals with friendly faces, vehicles with personality — scenes simple enough for a two-year-old to recognize and detailed enough to keep a five-year-old entertained.

Every page starts as a pencil sketch, drawn by hand.

  • The bear illustration digitally traced with bold outlines

    Digitally enhanced

Each line is digitally traced and refined. No auto-trace, no shortcuts, no AI. The bold outlines are deliberately wide — easy for small hands to color inside.

Traced and refined digitally — no auto-trace, no AI.

  • A child coloring the bear design with crayons

    Artist approved

We test every design with the only artists who matter. If kids don’t want to color it, the design doesn’t print.

Tested with real kids — if they won’t color it, it doesn’t print.

  • The finished colored page on a fridge

    Fridge-ready

All it needs now is your child, their crayons, and a spot on the fridge.

All it needs now is your child, their crayons, and the fridge.

Our story

Bip Bap Bop is a small studio making coloring books for the kids in our own lives. Our illustrators draw with their own children in mind — every design starts as a hand sketch and only makes it into a book if a real toddler wants to color it.

We’re not a content factory. We’re a small team that cares what your child spends their time on.

Common questions

What ages is the book best for?

This Big & Easy book is made for toddlers ages 1 to 3 — the stretch when big feelings arrive faster than the words for them. The extra-large pictures and extra-bold outlines suit little hands just learning to color, and the one-picture-one-feeling format helps them recognize and name each emotion as they go.

Will markers bleed through the pages?

Designs are printed on one side of every page to minimize the risk of bleed-through. If your child is using thick markers, try placing a thick sheet of paper under the page they’re coloring.

How big are the pages?

Each page is 8.5 by 11 inches — standard US Letter size. The jumbo format gives small hands plenty of room to color comfortably.

How many designs are there?

60 single-sided pages, each pairing one clear picture with one feeling word — the everyday emotions a toddler lives: happy, sad, mad, scared, excited, shy and more, shown on friendly animals and characters in both portrait and landscape layouts. One picture, one feeling, no clutter — and no repeats or filler.

Why does the link go to Amazon?

Amazon handles printing, fulfillment, returns, and customer service for this book — which means fast Prime shipping and easy returns if you’re not happy. We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

How does this help my child with feelings?

Each page shows one clear feeling and its word in big, bold letters. As your child colors, you name it together — “happy,” “sad,” “mad” — and can ask “How do you feel?” Putting a name to a big feeling is the first step toward understanding and managing it — what psychologists call “name it to tame it.”

Do you make books on other topics?

Yes — we have books on trucks, farm animals, trains, baby animals, and more. The series grows as our team draws new ones.

Is this a good gift?

Yes — it’s a thoughtful first-birthday or new-baby gift, and a favorite with grandparents and caregivers who want something both fun and good for a toddler’s emotional development. Pair it with a pack of chunky toddler crayons and you’re set.

One book. 60 big feelings.
