  • Coloring books for toddlers and young kids

    A book for every age

Most of our books work for ages 2 to 8 — simple enough for a toddler to recognize, detailed enough to hold a five-year-old's attention. For ages 1 to 3, our Big & Easy series has extra-large designs with bolder outlines.

Simple enough for toddlers, detailed enough for eight-year-olds.

  • A variety of Bip Bap Bop coloring book covers

    A growing series

Dinosaurs, animals, vehicles — we add new subjects as our team draws them. There's always something new to discover.

Dinosaurs to unicorns — new subjects added as our team draws them.

“A simple act, such as coloring, takes your attention away from yourself and onto the present-moment event. In this way, it is very much like a meditative exercise.”

— Dr. Scott Bea, Clinical Psychologist, Cleveland Clinic

How we draw every page

Created by humans. Made for kids. Loved by crayons.

  • A bear character being hand-drawn in pencil

    Hand-drawn

Every illustration begins as a pencil sketch. Our illustrators draw characters with friendly faces and scenes full of personality — scenes simple enough for a two-year-old to recognize and detailed enough to keep a five-year-old entertained.

Every page starts as a pencil sketch, drawn by hand.

  • The bear illustration digitally traced with bold outlines

    Digitally enhanced

Each line is digitally traced and refined. No auto-trace, no shortcuts, no AI. The bold outlines are deliberately wide — easy for small hands to color inside.

Traced and refined digitally — no auto-trace, no AI.

  • A child coloring the bear design with crayons

    Artist approved

We test every design with the only artists who matter. If kids don't want to color it, the design doesn't print.

Tested with real kids — if they won't color it, it doesn't print.

  • The finished colored page on a fridge

    Fridge-ready

All it needs now is your child, their crayons, and a spot on the fridge.

All it needs now is your child, their crayons, and the fridge.

Our story

Bip Bap Bop is a small studio making coloring books for the kids in our own lives. Our illustrators draw with their own children in mind — every design starts as a hand sketch and only makes it into a book if a real toddler wants to color it.

We're not a content factory. We're a small team that cares what your child spends their time on.

Common questions

What ages is the book best for?

This coloring book is designed for kids ages 4 to 8. Younger children can color freely, while older kids can add the detail. The variety of designs means there's something for any age in this range.

Will markers bleed through the pages?

Designs are printed on one side of every page to minimize the risk of bleed-through. If your child is using thick markers, try placing a thick sheet of paper under the page they're coloring.

How big are the pages?

Each page is 8.5 by 11 inches — standard US Letter size. The jumbo format gives small hands plenty of room to color comfortably.

How many designs are there?

60 single-sided pages, each a unique design — animal dads and their little ones (lions, eagles, moose, dragons and more), plus dads as astronauts, wizards and pirates, and father-and-child adventures like camping, fishing and flying, in both portrait and landscape layouts. No repeats and no filler pages.

Why does the link go to Amazon?

Amazon handles printing, fulfillment, returns, and customer service for this book — which means fast Prime shipping and easy returns if you're not happy. We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

What if my child doesn't like it?

Returns are handled by Amazon under their standard return policy. If your child isn't excited about it, send it back to Amazon for a refund.

Do you make books on other topics?

Yes — we have books on trucks, farm animals, trains, baby animals, and more. The series grows as our team draws new ones.

Is this a good gift?

Yes — it's a wonderful Father's Day activity and gift: kids can color a page (or the whole book) to give to Dad. It is also lovely for grandpas, or any time a child wants to make something for someone they love.

One book. 60 quiet afternoons.
